Thank you for your replies. I am so grateful... :)

I am almost near the direction I want to go now. Did you buy a spare BFG KO2's 215/75x15? did it fit on the tailgate? If it did fit, did you need a spacer for that?

Ok. Hello everyone. I know how I want my Jimny to look, I just need someone to be happy/comfortable/confident in giving me advise on sizes of wheels/tyres and makes of suspension kits so I can just go ahead and get it done!

I want black steel rims - (love the look of black rims)
I want mud tyres - (I don't use the Jimny to commute at all)
I want to go off road in all weathers (I have a place I can go off road)
I want a 2" lift - (because that's how I want her to look)
I want a Snorkel - (because that's how I want her to look)

I don't want to change the gearing

I have spent so many hours... what am I saying? months! researching what size tyres to buy, I just can't decide. Has anyone successfully achieved the above and is happy to share their completed masterpiece?

Budget isn't to much of an issue but would prefer to keep it under £1400 for parts. I have a mate who can fit everything...

The problem with choice is that there is to much of it!

I have +3" arms on a 2" suspension lift radius arms are not cheap
BUT has to be in the top 3 on my mod list car drives very well
My tyres are 195/80/16 extreme

(So i would say get the arms
go 195/80/15 the most aggressive remould/retread you like
2" black raptor suspension)
Just paint your standard wheels black

You would need gearing changes to run my size tyres and also 1" body lift

215/75r15 with a 2 inch lift. I don't look for mud but sometimes have no choice. There are many different quality brands of mud tires that will do well for you. If this is your general choice for your Jimny, it should be fine. As already mentioned the spare will mount with no problems.

I started out with nothing & still have most of it left

Did you change your bumper because the tyres rubbed?

Nope. It's because I hate plastic bumpers. In the years that I have driven offroad, even my metal bumpers have gotten dinged. Plastic just wouldn't last for me. I decided I would choose between what I saw as the lesser of 2 evils (wrecking the bumpers or adding some weight).

The bumpers went on before the tires but I think the feedback has been that 215/75r15 tires don't hit the stock bumpers. Others can confirm.

I started out with nothing & still have most of it left
