Cutting out poor running. was created by Lee1970
Hi all, my jimmy 2006 auto is playing up,
Losing power & hunting when warm on road, sometime cuts out & will not rev, no throttle response.
New plug & leads,coil x2,
New maf sensor, still the same.
Fault code of lambda on change & one for running too rich.
Have smoked air intake system, no leaks found,

Kat blocked/ exhaust?

Running out of ideas now

Catalytic converters does sound promising if it won't rev and is giving codes relating to the lambda sensors.

My money is on a blocked cat. Lambda sensors might throw a light on but not affect running as the car will just go into closed loop and run off its best guess from the other sensors. You'd not notice the difference in driving it.
