Ariel for a 2005 Hardtop was created by Godfather68
My radio Ariel is broken any good tips for a replacement?
Would prefer a rubber stubby or rubber if possible.
Any views or suggestions?
Thx

Plenty of different ones in halfords, but would probably require you to drill a new hole.
You can get the proper ones off ebay but they aren't cheap, so perhaps better getting one off a breaker.

Not the money I am worried about it is the rubbish location and vulnerability of standard part.

This is why I have forsaken radio in favour of mp3 off the phone.

Yes, found an interesting device that connects to the changer port on the Clarion set and gives an aux in, going to connect to iPhone and see what happens.
Coming from Amazon tomorrow.

I designd a Jimny aerial solution and I'm selling them on my site
3D-4x4.com
It's a stubby type made out of aluminum and carbon fiber the base is ABS plastic replacing the original one and fits on top of the existing rubber seal as a direct replacement no adjustments are necessary just screw it in like the factory one.
If you have any questions feel free asking.
Thanks, Adam.

Well impressed with this thing.
I paid £37 on amazon.
Acts like a 6 disk CD changer, just created 6 directories on a 2GB SD card and chucked 99 mp3 tracks on each and off you go.
Worked a treat, OK the way it reads the files is a bit strange, as it works on time written to card, but even so, massive improvement over a single CD. Have an aux to lightning cable coming later so hope to connect my iPhone and Spotify/internet radio through it later.
