hello all, i had an advisory on MOT that the anti roll bar D bushes had play in them, i was thinking of replacing them but after reading up
some folk take the roll bar off completely , so then thought its not worth bothering if they only have a few mill play ? i,m not exactly cornering at 80mph, am i thinking right on this? whats folks thoughts ? cheers Liam.

You get used to how it feels
If you're running a suspension lift you will need extended brake lines
to cope with axle articulation off road

Some MOT testers notice its absence. Not sure what that results in, but if you take it off it might be best to blank off the bolt holes and paint it to look like theres never been one on ;-)

They are as cheap as chips even for genuine Suzuki ones and not hard to replace, you have to remove more bits to take the bar off.
So if you are mostly on road it's going to handle better with it.
If you have a lift, big tyres and want articulation then take it off.

When I had the 90 it was a thing to remove the anti roll bars from them, so I did because I was young and foolish. They were back on within the weekend. Didn't like feeling like I was going to fall off the road with every bend. As has been said, new ones are cheap and plentiful and easy to replace.

OR, the best of both workds,,, an anti-rollbar disconnect,,,

Locked on the road for long journeys to where ever you're greenlaning, and then unlocked to gain full articulation offroad -

I tun mine with spacers due to the ~5" kift

They are split. Just pop them over.

The poly ones should come with a slit in them too...

I used to ship them un-cut as there seems to be two schools of thought of where you cut them... some in the middle of the flat of the "D" and some at about two o'clock... Original rubber ones are moulded with the split in the flat of the "D"...

No need to touch the bumper it's all accessible from underneath.
