interesting stuff
will see if its not as noisy when warm or vice versa
its not any problem and I think its sounds great
sounds a lot bigger engine than a 1300 cc

Mine used to do the exact same thing, wierd whine above ~2.5k rpm. I could never figure out what it was, it went away on mine, could have been a buggered water pump/alternator/power steering belt as I'm sure it went away about the same time I changed them (after the alternator belt snapped).
