Hi folks,
I have just discovered my jimny's radiator has a leak (2008). Probably just down to age/mileage but before I go and source a new rad, is there any particular issues I should be aware of? I know that standard rads on many cars are built to minimum spec for the model.
Is there a common upgrade that might be worth doing? I should mention that I do a lot of towing and being in Devon there is no shortage of hills around here.

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.

I have a nissens one in Dreadnaught. Just a standard replacement one, nothing special. Works well and I also do much hilly towing. Generally holds about 87 to 96 degrees and cools off quickly.

Yep, standard rads are fine. Just be sure the rest of the system is working well too, so the water pump and the viscous fan.
