Gear Knob Replacement ( 2004 - JB43 ) was created by DorukC
Hi all,
After the body lift kit, the gear knobs are lower now. I want to make them higher again with replacing the 18cm gear knob.
I know that for 2006 Jimny , we can easily remove the gear knob by rotating, however I tried to rotate it to remove but It doesn't move for 2004 Jimny. Are there any easy way to get it out ?
I don't have newly taken photo but here is the original interior of my jimny;
This is the new gear knob which I bought;
I'm waiting your advices.

Think it just unscrews, but may have a bit of glue on it as well.

It will come off. Just keep turning and maybe squash it in some grips to break up any glue or plastic thread.

It is a bit hard to rotate and get it out but I finally changed the gear knobs.
