Spark plug socket was created by HUN
Hi Gents,

I'd like to check/ replace the spark plugs in my VVT Jimny. My old socket does not fit into the hole but it's the right size for the spark plug because it fits on the spark plug when its in my hand... Looks like I need a socket with thin wall thickness?
Can someone attach a link of an appropriate/tested socket, please? I'd like to avoid purchasing another useless piece. Thank you.

Make sure it has the rubber grip for the plug or you'll never get it out the hole without a magnet on a stick and threading the new one in will be a nightmare. Been there, done that on other cars in my youf!

You can normally get the coil pack back on and pull it out with that :)

It has the rubber in the ends to hold the plug.
The long one is so cheap, its silly not to get one lol.
why struggle with a socket type.

Mine is 1/2" socket. Rubber in the end sure holds the plug so I can get it out, but the socket stays on the plug when I lift the extension rod out after securing the plug back in.. It's tricky to get the socket out afterwards so I would buy the long one in the picture instead.

I have the same problem. solved it by wrapping some insulation tape around the extension bar and onto the socket to stop it coming off when doing the job ;-)
