Just got these.
Will be installed on the chassis right next to the springs. Only doing the front.

Not a lot af shocks comes with internal bump stops. And if they do, they're not that good.

Internal bump stops are better than nothing. But still a bad excuse for real bump stops.

I know the ones I've just gotten are perhaps a bit overkill. I really wanted Fox hydraulic bump stops. But can't really find place to fit them anywhere. So I got these instead, which allow for a bit more travel, before bumpstopping. The internal ones are only a few mm's of rubber to prevent metal from hitting metal.

As you can see in the video, this works much better. But to fit something like this to the Jimny the entire front chassis suspension mounts have to be altered.

Bling?

No bling, just how it should be on a Jimny :)

More like what use.

I'm building my Jimny for comp use, so I want best possible/affordable parts. That's why I'd really like to get hydraulic bumpstops, along with other suspension parts. But it pretty expensive, and as I wrote before, requires modifications to the mounts.

But for occasional greenlaning or pay & play, standard rubber bumpstops are fine.

Please post your hydraulic bump stops, I'd love to see the setups from the past 8 years. Are custom bracket and universal bumps still the best option?
