+3 Susp Kit help. was created by cz_ice
Hello guys.

I have just ordered this +3 lift kit.

But im confused because rear left spring on my JDM Jimny is handed. Does that mean that i have to cut the new spring?
Or i just leave it as is?

Thank you

Leave as is, if the new springs arnt handed i.e marked as left and right then dont trim them, not easy and they'll never sit right. Just because the original springs are different in the rear doesnt mean that you'll nescessarily have aproblem with the new kit. Just out of interest wheres the new kit come from? I see its fairly comprehensive, but at 3" I'm suprised there isnt front radius arms rather than castor correction bushes.

Thanks

Gary

Hello GARY,
This lift kit comes from Taiwan.
GIZ.com.tw and it coasts 798 US dollars.(Includes everything on the picture)
They do have radius arms but they don.t include them.
Also, they only supply 2 bushes(or whatever they called) which is not enough for castor correction. But, I already have 4 of those.

I thought so, been tempted a couple of times to import one of those kits, or bits. www.jimnybits.co.uk gets some of his bits from there I'm fairly sure. If you have two spare bushes could i borrow/buy them from you to measure up for some bizzarre old radius arms i have fitted to mine? or could i have your spare old standard bushes?

cheers

Gary

Hello GARY,

Yeah Jimnybits gets the snorkel from them, but they already have a new one which is much smaller.

Of course you can borrow them from me, but the thing is that I am from Russia.:)
