Tyres (yet again) but this time... was created by Pegz2
Hi all
Hate to be that person again but...
I have a 13+ post face-lift jimny (the one with the bigger front bumper).
I want to do something about the tyres, I have steels and alloys to play with. I currently have knackered winter tyres on the steels and not much left 205 70 15 road tyres on the alloys.
I don't want to cut anything, but I have heard that 215 75 15s might not fit with the bigger bumper.
Can anyone confirm either way? What would my options be for something between the two? Don't really want to be paying more than something like the toyo open countrys (about £70).
Thanks

Not that I have bigger tyres on mine but from comparison with my older 2011 my 2018 bumper is actually going to be better for bigger tyres, it doesn't extend as far down and the front of the liner is a better shape too.

That's great to know, thank you! I have managed to find dimensions of the tyres as well so will have a look. I did briefly have a 2006 and 2016 but never had an opportunity to actually compare with tyres in mind

This is quite a good site for tire sizes versus dimensions and also has a handy comparison feature.

tiresize.com/tyre-size-calculator/

The standard tyre sizes are listed and it even shows what will fit on your rims (wheel width).
