Just purchased a JIMNY, super excited!!!
MODEL: JB43 COLOR: White YEAR: 2007 LOC: Japan

Anybody know where is the best place to look at parts? I would prefer to avoid ebay if possible, but if that is the only place then I shall start going there. Here is a list of what I am looking to change out:

1) Double din - want something with Android Auto/etc
2) Lights - would like to change all lights to LED (internal) and look for a possible HID Kit for the external (halo is a plus)
3) Front bumper - mostly just want to make a more aggressive look
4) Reap bumper - again, more aggressive look
5) Windows - I have seen a few rear windows on some other mods that look amazing, just cant find them

Any help in where I should be looking would be huge! I am looking on Youtube, but everything is in a different language or for the brand new GEN4. Thanks again!

If you are based in Japan then the choice is essentially limitless. Otherwise Google is you friend with lots of things on aliexpress as well as other specialist suppliers round the world.

I think that is with an assumption that I know what I am doing! :P I dont! I have used google (well before posting here and partly how I found this place). Google doesnt help you if you dont know what you are looking for.

Example: What type of double din am I looking for? What is the size? I have not found any sites that have a good option for these and that has a "Fits your car" option like major sites for the US. This is why I was posting, trying to see if one exists that I have not found yet. In fact, Jimny doesnt even show up as an option in the "fit your vehicle" when I go to ali express.

Do you have any "specialist suppliers" list? or does one exist on the site? I am trying to find a way to help me find these things. If I took the time to register, make an account, and make a post it means I am more or less lost.

I have a double DIN Android in my 2011 Jimny, the only thing that makes it special is rounded corners, otherwise you have to modify the facia.

The double DIN I have is sold by Xtrons, but apparently they don’t make it, so it might be sold by someone else in Japan. Let me know if you need a link?

I fitted LED bulbs to the internal light and the front side lights, these are just small capless bulbs, minecame from eBay but there are plenty of sellers.

I also fitted an LED light in the boot. There are a couple of plastic covers in the boot and I just cut one of these out and fitted a rectangular LED module, a foot well light for a BMW or Audi, I think, whichever was cheap, again from eBay.

These would be my choice of rear windows.

What are your long term goals for the Jimny? Where do you plan to go?

Bro, those windows are EPIC!!!!

Sadly, USA wont let me import that damn thing until 2030 or so, that said, I plan to enjoy taking it around in Japan. I just got done with a 2HR trip to the mountains and had a blast. Gas per KPM was pretty bad LMAO, other than that it was super fun.

Sounds good, I will try out that LED bulb trick! The current lights are so lackluster it is sad.... so glad to know its possible to get some actual light from those things with a bit of a mod.

As for the DIN, I just wanted to get some that I saw online, but I wasnt sure of the fit (harness and all). There is a youtube video where the guy takes it apart and it seems fairly easy, but the modified faceplate is almost $300 USD, so thats a bit much to just go and "try something" out with. Wanted to be a bit sure.

That said, seems that most of these mods will be "tinker" instead of industry standard. That is fine, if that is all that exists. I am looking to find a local person here in Japan, but I am way up north in a fisherman town so there isnt much "Modding" going on around these parts.
