This morning i managed to spill petrol all over the black wheel arch moulding on my Gen 4. Does anyone have any handy hints on how to remove the streaky stain it has left?

Black shoe polish if you have some.
Polish on, polish off, works just as good as the modern alternatives.

Auto Glym Tyre Dressing works well on both rubber footwell mats and exterior/interior plastic trim.

Might sound weird but I find a jar of Peanut Butter (smooth not crunchy variant) works exceedingly well. Don't worry about any particular brand - just whatever is on the shelf at your nearest discount supermarket. The oil in peanut butter leaves an ex-factory finish to your plastic components and it's both cheap and very effective. Only negative report might be a passing dog licking your Jimny? One of the best tips I've implemented..

Doesn't the car look a bit of a mess with all the butter smeared all over it?

Just been reading the comments on Aerospace 303. Apparently it is carcinogenic and can cause serious eye problems.

Apparently so are peanuts. They can also cause serious eye problems, and they make you fat if you eat enough.
