Ours is a 2020

l've heard nothing from Suzuki so it may be one made after the recall.

2021s are also affected by the recall, at least in my corner of the world - the local dealer has already contacted me, we're waiting on the replacement harnesses to arrive in country before I take the car in.

Does Suzuki group them into actual Model Years?

No.

Suzuki use "types". These nearly match years but gradually slip out of sync. Of the originals we got only Type1. A Type 2 was launched but all we got was the parts manual for it and not the actual car. I would guess most of the late 2020 and 2021 cars internationally will be type 2. However you will be hard pressed to spot any changes.

Strangely the commercial appears in the type 1 parts manual and not the type 2 parts manual. However now the commercial is actually here I will take a look to see if any documents are updated

Ours appears to fall within the door harness recall, but not the fuel pump one.

Just booked mine in, had to go to Levoi's Suzuki in Colchester, who couldn't have been more helpful, unlike my local dealer whose service dept seems to actively try to avoid all work.

Just received my letter from Suzuki informing me of the recalls. My dealer was well on the ball seeing as they were done last Friday

Can't say l am too happy about the dealer taking the doors apart, l hope they don't just cut or rip off the damp proof membrane from behind the
door trim, and not replace it, as was done on our VW Polo when it needed new door locks.

Unless the Jimny doesn't have one fitted.

They are fitted, I would imagine Suzuki would send send out a kit of parts need to complete the recall, so if new membrane is needed it should have been supplied?
