Can anyone tell me what is the container connected to right of the radiator?
I see mine is totally empty... is this a problem?

It's the expansion catch bottle and yes it should be half full when engine is cold.
As the engine warms up the water in the engine expands and is push past the radiator cap into this bottle. As the engine cools the water is sucked back, so the engine stays full of water hot or cold.
Over a very long period of time this water level will reduce, but if it's going down over a few weeks you have a leak
Top it up, if you look there is a fill line half way up, and keep an eye on it. It should stay at the same level (engine cold). I would also  remove the radiator cap (cold again) and make sure this is full before you put the cap back.

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)
