Very Occasionally I hear what appears to be water slushing around on the left side of car , this happens when starting off and then comes and goes for a few minutes particulary when turning. Strange but I have a friend who says he's heard similar with his new model    Anyone any ideas or has similar water noises. ?   My wife said sounds as if a gallon container is half full of fluids.

Yes we have a similar issue, we think it's to do with the air-conditioning.

When I've had it, it's been water in the roof gutters. Disappears once you hit the brakes and send the water flying out the front.

It's definitely nothing to do with the rain on ours. It is kept in the garage, polished and only comes out in the dry!

Agree. We have most hot sunshine days. Summer here and also experienced the sloshing sound. For me sounds like it is comming from frame but all fram holes are open.

I have a 20 plate SZ5 and mine does that now and again. It sounds like a bucket full of water sloshing around under the scuttle panel. Had a look and all seems well. When you put the hose over the car plenty of water runs out of the bottom drains.

It looks like the GEN4 has inherited some SJ features, as that also was occasionally prone to sounding full of water.
