Where yo get the cone washers ? was created by Cutler
Hi, so I have avm manual hubs and before I put these on there is Alan bolts which have/had cone shape washers on where could I find these washers or could I make something similar or do I even need them at all as most of them had dissolved anyway I will attach a photo as this was very vague

Yes, you do need them as they correctly locate the AVM hubs to the hub body. They will be standard Suzuki parts or maybe Martin stocks them.

I got mine from America via ebay as the avm ones were powered metal and quite fragile the American ones appear to be actually machined.

You could try Rough Trax, they are near Bristol. They specialise in Toyota but to my knowledge the cone washers are the same for Toyota and Suzuki. The Rough Trax items are complete with stud cone, nut and lock washer.

I thought that and ordered the Toyota ones. They're m10 the Suzuki on the other hand are m6.

The cone washers are the same as the Toyota ones, but it depends on the Toyota model, while the hub bolts on all Suzuki models are M8, Toyota used 2 different sizes: M8 for Land Cruisers with 6 wheel studs and M10 for Land Cruisers with 5 wheel studs.
I attached a photo for exemplification, on the left is the genuine Suzuki cone washer, on the right is the aftermarket Toyota one and they are both identical. I think the Toyota ones are a bit easier to find and a bit cheaper.

@Gilling Red, yes, the bore is straight M8.

@Cutler, can you share a photo with the AVM hubs you have? So far the ones I saw from AVM did not require any cone washers to fit them, only the factory Suzuki manual hubs require the cone washers.
