Water retained somewhere in bodywork?

Our 2020 Jimny is parked on our drive facing slightly downhill. Unfortunately at the moment it's not used every day,
After it's rained, if you move it off the drive, water pours out from somewhere.
I'm not terribly happy about leaving standing water inside the bodywork for days, has anyone found out where this water collects?
Our VW Up did the same thing.

I am thinking a hole drilled in the right place would do less harm than allowing water to sit inside for days at a time.

I am going to try parking it the other way, that is, facing uphill, to see if it still does it.

Which end does the water seem to emanate from? Do you have trees above that could have blown into a drain hole? The wiper scuttle would be my first investigation.

Well it's pretty much brand new and there are no trees above it, but l will check what you suggested anyway.

Only one which I'm aware of is water collecting in the roof gutters when facing uphill, which gives an unsettling gurgle when it runs off, not experienced it with the car facing downhill, as the gutters drain.

Open the bonnet and look at the firewall and low down on the passenger side you will see a length of pre-formed rubber about 50-60mm long with what appears to be a crimped end. This is a one way valve to allow water that collects within the double skin of the firewall to run out. I agree that it is a bit unnerving knowing that water collects there and wondering what precautions Suzuki took to prevent corrosion!

Is that not the Air/Con drain?

Agreed! Water Drain for the Climate Control which is also a de-humidifier. :)
