LED lights. Same wiring as Halogens?

Greetings all,

Please don't flame me if this is a stupid question.
My Jim has halogen spots on it the PO installed. I'd like to replace with LED to put less strain on the alternator etc. Could I simply attach the LED bar to the existing wiring that's for my halogens?

Yes. But. What you need to know is the Watts of the existing and the proposed. Once you have this information provided that the circuit is suitable with fuses and relays and a suitable gauge of wire you are set. If you are at all uncomfortable with any of it then please either get it checked or replaced by a qualified auto electrician.

Yes as long as the red wires are positive and the black wires are negative it will be fine.
