Nothing about that springs out as being better than the outgoing UK spec Jimny. That load guard will be useful to some.

Do they come without all the electric rubbish like TPMS and lane departure warning?

The Press Release has been around for a while, "03 March 2020".
Looks like SZ4 specs, more steel rims, yum! :)

Sorry, I missed this at the bottom:
"Suzuki Introduces the Jimny Light Commercial Vehicle in Europe
Added: 8 Sep 2020 | ID: 5225" ;)

Hope yet.
I don't like electronic gizmos so lack of is a bonus to me and my G3 already looks like the rear of that G4, saves me throwing rear seats away.
It all boils down to price though, if it's high it's not for me.

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

All the electronics are still on board, remember that TPMS is the law in Europe so no chance of that going. In fact, there are more electronics as it says they have added e-call now

Hopefully the dealers won't be greedy by preregistering them again, they can charge what they like when they pull up that stunt. :(

Do we know if they have upped the tow capacity, the spec list doesn't mention it?

Happy, company's will make more extra's for the little beast.
BUT remember price will be +VAT & road tax will be high, that's the way commercial vehicles go.

There was always talk of Suzuki releasing a commercial version of the Jimny. ln the Farmers magazine reviews it's seen as an alternative to the larger 4x4 quad bike type vehicles, which can cost similar money.
