i have a 2002 jimny just don oil plugs etc while driving on motorway round 50 after about 10 miles she stopped after a few minutes it started up again spluttering then drive ok for another 9 or 10 mile and stopped again waited a while then stared again i think it must be a block in the fuel lines but where if i fit a inline filler would that help it

The cam sensor and crank sensor fail in a similar manner..... Did you get the eml light come on ? Get a fault code reader and have a look see...

you can try to cool the sensor with water, if it works straight away you know its at fault.
The other item that can cause this type of issues is the coil packs and leads. If they are original it may be time to change them, especially as you disturbed them during the service and now you have the issue.

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

Normally the crank position sensor. If it is it won't have left any fault codes because when the signal stops the ecu just assumes the engine has stalled.
