Hi guys, first time Jimny owner here of a 2008 grey beauty
anyone know where I can get a decent workshop manual for it?

Welcome to the forum. If you have a look in the Jimny information section at the top of the page you'll find a list of useful part numbers that relate to the manuals they may be available to download form certain sites. Copyright prevents me directly linking such things.

Hello and welcome,
Never actually found a hard copy of anything related to fixing the Jimny myself, I make do with the electronic versions that are available if you search the web. Luckily the Jimny has evolved rather than changed drastically over the years, so in many cases older information will still be valid for your 2008.
This and the experience of the collective on this forum is usually enough to fix the few faults the Jimny actually has.
But sure I have seen someone mention a "Haynes" type book, so hang out just in case.
