Brakes was created by ColinTheViking
So I’ve had a check in my brakes from the garage and my front left calliper is seized, they’ve quoted me £500+ to fix this and I know for certain I can do it myself for much less. I’ve changed the brakes on a VW Golf before which was simple enough.

I am wondering if anybody has any advice? Where is best to get replacement callipers and should I be getting any other parts as well such as disks and pads? Should I do both callipers or just the one?

Brand new calipers are available from around £60 each upwards.

They just bolt on with 2 bolts. You would need to bleed through the brakes

You would definitely need pads

Also I am looking for my VIN. The number in my windscreen says JSAFJB43V00334622 I'm trying to find out what size disks I will need.
