Hi so I am rebuilding my jimny I’ve removed the boot (poor repair by previous owners) to find both rear mounts are rotten on the body side and all the rear section under the rear door has anyone put a section of 4x4 box across the rear or anyone able to help with any pics or ideas ect would be much appreciated thanks in advance. Number 16 18 19 20 on pic

Ooh that looks fun! Don't see why you shouldn't be able to do something with box section and plates. Have you got a replacement floor or are you just going to have a flat sheet? It really depends on what you are wanting from the car if it's just for bashing about in then fair enough, if you're looking to resell it at some point then it could be easier to shift with the correct panels.
