The most obvious question is is the level correct and are there any leaks? After that did you use a good replacement pressure switch not a cheap one as there's increasing reports of more and more dodgy sensors coming to the market for all manufacturers.

The oil level is smack on and can’t see any leaks and I got the switch from euro car parts so it should be ok?

If you had said the switch was supplied by Martin or jimnybits I might have been inclined to think it should be ok but eurocarparts have been a bit too hit and miss in my experience. Do you still have the old one you removed.

It's worth checking out the possibility that the original switch was just in need of a bit of a clean certainly.
