Greeting to all, I own a 2017JB43 in China.Suzuki Japan has seized operation there and it will be difficult to get parts after few years. Now I am on vacation in Barbados and there are lots of Jimnys. I am wonder whether I should stock up some easy-to-break, consumable, no-aftermarket parts for future use? Some candidates in my mind are rear brake shoe assembly, and the two engine belts. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance

Hi M13a
Unless you only want to use Genuine Suzuki parts I am not convinced you will actually have a supply problem. All the consumables I have use so far have been manufactured by others, most made in China!
Other than consumables Sods law states - "only the part you don't have will fail", so putting anything on the shelf is just a gamble.
Things that fail that can be vehicle specific are sensors and coil packs, but you even see third party alternatives to these.
I would just keep going as normal, you could always get items posted in the unlikely event anything goes wrong.

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

^^^^^^^this. In the modern age it is possible to get anything delivered anywhere via the internet. I really wouldn't worry about it.
