It's not a Suzuki bit of news, however it is a bit of interest as this company is in the process of developing a large version of the Jimny/replacement of the original Defender. It's going have be a ladder frame, beam axles in a utility package that is easy to fix in the field, it will not be a Chelsea tractor.
The company has plenty of backing, it is run by the richest man in the UK who owns oil refineries, the factory will be in Bridgend..

Their website has some info..

It sounds like another waiting game, they will unveil in 2020 for orders in 2021.

Kind of similar project but an all electric approach:

Kind of takes inspiration from a land rover and jeep but with a modern twist. Love the potential storage on this one...

This looks awsome, saddened by the new defender. I mean it looks like a superb bit of kit.. but 40k for an entry level defender? really - If you wanted a luxurious defender you bought a range rover... there's now a huge hole in the 'cheap' rugged 4x4 market. Hopefully the gen.4 will step up and fill it!!

I've been following this project for a long time but have seen nothing but adverts and articles for others.

I'm starting to feel it's a marketing exercise.
