I'm looking at these too. I don't need them and can't justify them, but I just might...

I have looked at those as well. I would like to see some pictures of them fitted from underneath, just to get a better idea of how much protection they offer.

They fix to the chassis in three places opposed to two on the gen.3 J-wagon but look almost identical besides that.

But agreed it’s an expensive ‘nice to have’ would love to see some more photos or have an owners review

They've arrived and holy cow they are HEAVY. If you value fuel economy and performance, these are not going to be your friends!

With brackets and all fittings, they weigh 15.65kg each, so just over 31kg extra weight on the car, ouch!

Supplied in three boxes, labelled left rail, right rail and fittings.

Brackets don't come attached. Supplied with all hardware needed and colour instruction sheet.

Brackets installed (need to be removed before install) with Xbox controller for an idea of size. They're big.

Front bracket. Re-uses existing body mount bolt to attach.

Middle bracket, bolts through the odd tube section on the side of the chassis.

Rear bracket. Re-uses existing body mount bolt to attach.

Build quality seems exceptionally good. Very thick metal, neat welds and nice powder coating (a couple of minor scuffs from transit).
