Can anyone ID this noise??

It's only when cold and between 2/3000 revs and disappears when warm.
It seems to get louder on the exhaust side in the video??
I had a new exhaust fitted a couple of months ago and it has been ok so far.

Take the heat shield off when it's cool and try again

Well it's not the manifold heatshield and the new exhaust rear box doesn't have one.
My first instinct was that it was the fan but it appears to have enough clearance all round and I can't physically see anything and I have removed the shroud as well.
It's got that bicycle spoke type noise to it.
Just to make sure when it cools down I may try removing the fan and see what happens when it revs(by hand) and report back lol

it's not the fan. Removed it and the noise is still there.
While i was messing around the noise seems to be coming from the power steering /aircon pump area ??
My next thought was a belt but I can't see anything just looking at them so tomorrow I'll take them off and have a look.
I might just change them anyway as I know they are way past their best. The Jimny has done 87000.
I don't suppose there is any reason to suspect any of the pumps is there?? Although it's a regular noise it almost sounds like a ball bearing or check valve rattling??
Is there anything to check on the pumps while I have the belts off?( assuming the noise stops)

I think I've found the problem. I believe the crankshaft pulley is on the way out.
I was running it checking the belts and I noticed the pulley was not running true. I took off the belts and the noise is gone!!
I assume when cold the alternator etc is loading it up so it was complaining until warm. I could do with a couple of belts anyway as they are cracking in the grooves so I'll get the pulley off tomorrow then see about getting another.
Anyone know of where to get one and is there anything to look out for with the aftermarket ones??
Not too bothered about longevity as it's getting on a bit now so I might change it in the next year or so.
At least the problem is easier to solve than the gearbox I had to get rebuilt lol

Parts ordered from Martin so I'll get on taking the radiator out as I don't want to damage it lol
I've got a DIY 6ft breaker bar with a 1/2" socket drive welded on so that should do it lol
I originally made it up for removing drive shaft nuts on fwd cars as they are also on tight!!
Then I'll sit back and await the goodies.

Yes it was the crank pulley delaminating so I got to it in time and also fitted new belts while I was at it.
You can see where it had been rubbing on the crankshaft seal housing but no damage.

Well done nice and quiet now

It certainly is I could push the inner using my thumbs so it wasn't far off coming apart and the noise was a warning.
Maybe the "noise" video is another one for the archives lol
