Hi everyone.

I have been debating on what wheels and tyres to upgrade.

I have attached a picture with all the Rims I am looking at and just wanted everyone's opinion.

I am looking to get 16"x8 with Pirelli Scorpion™ All Terrain Plus at 235/70/R16.

Which one do you guys like most?

Do you guys also think it would rub? Would I need to lift or get wheel spacers?

I have 235/75R15s, which are almost exactly the same size, with 50mm lift, and they rub on the lower edge of the front bumper

It will depend on what offset the wheels have as well.

I like no3 but it might be better to actually pick one you like and get all the information on it, then some of the forum members will be able to give you better information

Wheels will need to be 0 offset you may get away with a -5 offset
How your gearing will cope with a 29" tyre I don't know
Also going to need a lift 50mm >

The 15x8 steelies on Ulysses are 0 offset and they cannot be fitted without wheel spacers as the driverside catches on the steering draglink. No doubt different on alloys and a newer Jimny. Wheel spacers make the body catching worse as well.

235's on standard gearing will be slow, unsure about suspension lift.

Edit: Wheel No.5 is my favorite from the pic ;-)

Thanks everyone on your feedback and it did get me thinking maybe I shouldnt go so large.

I have decided to go with 15inch x 7 with -6mm offset. It would be lighter, leaner, easier on the gearbox and hopefully won't hit.

I am gonna go with All-Terrain T/A® KO2 215/75R15 .
