Those are pretty big spacers. You could go more conservative than that and I presume the stress of other components would be significantly less.

Given the general fragility of a the gen3 front axle and there having been little in the way of a redesign to gen4 I wouldn't be wanting any spacers at all.

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.

I like the look of the Gollek Automotive rock sliders. It would be interesting to find out how robust they are, but their engineering generally appears very good.

They do look good - although I am not certain how much utility there is in them rising up in the middle. It's difficult to see exactly what's under the step. However, since they are German I expect they work!

It's all extra weight though, to add to the extra kilos that the KO2s will weigh + any other options. My new saying is "Lambert wouldn't approve" - (Lambert races his Jimny).

Abject apologies Lambert, just pulling your leg!

My K02's (including alloy) weighed 22kg vs the stock duellers which weighed 17kg. A 5kg increase at the hubs makes a noticeable difference to the handling without any mods to the suspension. They do look good though. :pinch:
