Not sure to be honest. But i have it on good authority this is the case. PLus any bigger than 215, its gonna hit fuel and gearing and hence top speed. Not worth it without upgrades IMO.

Hello There,
There are no Toyo and Yokohama tires available in Turkey. So i have two options: Hankook dynapro rf11 and Bridgestone dueler at 001(both 215/75/15).
The weight of rf11 per tire is 17kgs which is too heavy for jimny.
As i do %80 on road and %20 offroad, i am planning to go for Duelers which are 13.7kg/tire.
Does anyone has feedback on Duelers?

Personally i would go with RF11's
My first jimny had Duelers and i found these really unpredictable
Then i swapped them for RF10's much better grip and a lot more predictable

muto wrote: Yeah, it's 3gen. Forgot to mention that. Many say that this size is ok for 3gen, but seems that not exactly true if the tire is more aggresive.

Update: I found the reason why the tyre was touching some metal.. there was a dent on the other side under the plastic. So i think 215/75r15 is fine like other have written.
