I am baffled at this black roof malarky - I live in sunny (not) UK and given the choice would choose a white roof over black any day!

I'd be interested to know how it drives with the 235's, especially if there is any rubbing. It's a shame you can't test them at full articulation too, now that would be a proper test drive!
No rubbing experienced in a brief on-road test drive, but it had a 2" lift kit fitted ($1200 quoted). King steel wheels were 15x6 with 0mm offset compared with +5? OEM. Tyres were barely covered by the wheel arch flares and speedo was borderline illegal too - probably not important unless your insurer is looking for a loophole. Seemed to make the car (an auto) really sluggish though compared with my earlier test drive, so I won't be going beyond 215. Will consider the lift kit though.

I really appreciate the info, I can’t wait until we start to get add-ons here, at the moment we’re limited to some basic dealer accessories. I want to start with tyres (I agree with you, I think 215’s are the best choice), the lift and a platform type roof rack. I’m hoping someone brings out recovery points too.

Anything retro looking is good with me. But the completely unexpected white-walls and shiny hub-caps on a vehicle designed for off-road use is... unusual to say the least. It's not wrong - at least not in my view - just very interesting.
I Love it!
