The part of the nut that holds the wheel is flatter for the steel wheels I had to change mine after the tyre fitter mentioned it can't remember where I got mine, but Martin might be able to get a set

As long as you get some ordered asap and use the car sparingly a few days wouldn't be a problem unless you are involved in a collision then you will have a problem.

Ok basic principles. Jimny has m12x1.25 wheel studs, very common and easy to find. Jimny ally wheels have a 60 degree mounting face or chamfer. If you have bought aftermarket wheels that also have a 60degree mounting face then that is good. The ally wheels are a thicker flange than the steel wheel so less thread protrudes allowing the factory closed or dome nuts to tighten to the wheel before the thread reaches the top of the nut. On the steel wheel there's a chance to tighten the nut to the correct torque but have the thread tight against the top of the nut therefore not correctly holding the wheel. This is not a problem with open ended nuts. Then there's the problem of the nut not sitting correctly if the wheel doesn't have a 60degree mounting face, which being aftermarket is a definite possibility.

Without measuring it with a protracter which is easier with the wheel off Idon't know, it might not even be a chamfer as radius nuts are common too.

Do you have the listing for where you bought them that should say what style of nut they use?
