Vehicles (17 Jan 2019)

You can now add the vehicles you own to your profile as little icons that appear in your profile and alongside your posts.
This is a bit of an experiment. Take a look under the "REWARDS" menu across the top of the screen for the vehicles "ADD/MODIFY" option.
Let me know how you get on.

This may have been posted in another thread that I missed. 2 new Suzuki Jimny concepts are going to be shown at this auto show starting the 11th of this month if anyone wants to follow it.

This is a link to one of the news stories:

2019 Tokyo Auto Salon

Apologize if this has already been shown elsewhere.

I started out with nothing & still have most of it left

Zukebob I haven't seen these elsewhere here so I'm pretty certain this is new info.
Have you heard/seen any suggestions of a futuire open-topped variant?

Sorry to say Max that the only open-top version I have seen so far was from a fan that is a talented user of Photoshop.

Heheh - yes I think I've seen that and did think at the time that it might be an unofficial 'artists impression' .

I'd like to think a rag-top might be in the pipeline somewhere down the line, but based on the last open-topped variant I would also hope a lot more more thought is put into its design and function, not to mention quality of materials.
I love my convertible but its a huge PIA in terms of practicality.

Max - I saw a picture on Instagram of an Italian 2019 Jimny with a large area cut out of the roof and replaced with a removable canvas cover. I think it was done by the actual Suzuki dealer, but I'm struggling to find the picture again.

2004 Jimny Mode; General Grabber AT3s (215/75/R15); Trailmaster 2" Lift; Jimnybits Snorkel; Jimnybits Front and Rear Recovery Points; Osram Nightbreakers; Suntop Roof Rack; AVM Manual Hubs; ORA Radius Arm Guards; Stainless Steel Exhaust System.

Blimey!
To do that to a new vehicle - someone must be ├╝ber-keen on open air motoring!

If a seriously BIG sunroof such as you describe was made available I could probably live with that to be honest B)
