Question about tyre dimensions (kumho vs bfg) was created by StergiosJimny
Hi there. Is bfg km2 narrower than kumho kl71 m/t? Same dimensions (215/75r15) but i think that is smaller.
Any pics about the diference?
Also, a -20 offset wheel will touch somewhere with a 2 inch lift? I have the 1st gen bumper.
Thank you!

Don't have a direct comparison but my bfg urban terrain were noticeably taller than the Bridgestone they replaced.

You're unlikely to find someone with both to compare on here. Try calling Tyres Direct as they will likely have both in stock and they are good to buy from if you can get them fitted locally.

Generally the more coarse the rubber the bigger the tire as most often the dimensions are measured at the steel reinforcement inside the tire.

BFG's in bigger sizes at least are not bigger than others. My BFG's are not bigger than the Nexen i had before.
I have BFG MT 235's on original alloys with a 2" lift and have a slight rubbing in the front and rear of the front wheel arch with some inflex at approx 70% turn of the steering wheel, and some rubbing on the inside of the rear wheel well at full flex.
I would have a lot more rubbing in the front if i had more ET.
Not too bothered by it and works for me.
My tires or wheel arches does not have any damages from the rubbing i have.
I do not have any mudflaps and there would not be room for them either.

The Kumho does look squatter than the BFG, could it have a more bulbous sidewall but the same tread pattern width ?

I think you will find the BFG is a more rounded profile to the tread. I am running 215/75/15 X3's with a 2" lift and i think it looks just right. (standard rims). :)
