Would a 4.3 diff from a 2013 car go into a 1999 axle with a 3.9 diff.

Ive done the reverse swap to this (4.3 out and 3.9 in).

The front needed some grinding to one edge of the housing (crown wheel clearance i think). Rear was straight swap, no hassle.

Both diffs use standard spline counts for axle shafts (22 front and 26 back).

Drive shafts and prop shafts are the same for both.

J999 MNY, ULYSSES M18 VVT with ITB's Dyno tested at 130hp

Pickup/tipper, R7me gearbox & 6.4 Rocklobster, 31" Toyo MT, 2x ARB air locker 3.9 diffs in braced axles, 6" total lift, Floating rear conversion, Raptor painted, CB, Recaro's, Caged, etc, etc...
