No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationJust wondering if anyone knew if Defender arches could be fit onto a Jimny.
And if so how difficult is it.
Picture and link below of what I mean.

Anything can be fitted with enough work, the question is do you like the look of it and are you prepared to cut up something meaning you cant return it? Depends on the price i suppose...

I have some alaplast arches which needed a fair bit of cutting to fit properly and allow for the 31" tyres. Extra mud flaps were needed for them as well (couldn't see out the side windows otherwise). The defender ones look appropriate, but would need cut up a bit to fit around the existing trim and holes drilled in bodywork to mount them.

Have a look for rubber 'top-hat' fixings. these allow you to fix trims by drilling holes and putting them through. as you tighten the screw it seals around the hole drilled. good solid fix for any light bumps and stops rattles with being rubber ;-)

and welcome from a fellow Cumbrian...

as when fitted with 235/75 tyres..

and the newest pic i have with the mudflaps and 31's...

Just google alaplast jimny arches and you should find them, probably not as cheap as you are hoping tho! They satisfy the MOT guy as they are covering the tyre tread when viewed from above (just!)

Defender ones bolt on pretty easy. Take a look at S200KYS on this forum or pictures on his Laning blog
