Today i fitted a 2" lift kit from jimnybits to my 2006 VVT. Which is fitted with standard steel rims and 195-70-15 kumho 71 tyres. Put 32mm wheel spacers on the back, looking good so far. Here comes the disappointment 32mm wheel spacers on the front no chance still catches in the arch. Can anyone advise

Not sure what you'd expect.
With spacers you move the tyres closer to the arch.

I agree with Tom, using the spacers you are pushing the wheels towards the arch increasing the likelyhood of the issue.
As why the difference between a 2005 and 2006, this is why I do not enter in the "what tyres can I fit" questions, its because even seemingly similar Jimnys sit differently on the same lift kit.

Yes - spacers and wide or offset wheels all move the tyre towards the arch.
I have a 2" lift and 215/75 tyres and when I had 7.5" wheels the outside edge of the front tyres rubbed on the arch. Since going back to stock wheels they have never rubbed.

Do they catch the arch or bottom of bumper
you could fit 3" castor corrected front arms as they are longer than standard so push the axle forwards
