Hello there,

I recently bought a 2004 Jimny Mode. It came with a spare wheel hard cover. At the base of the hard cover there is a lock but unfortunately I don't have a key. Does anyone know if it's possible to get replacement keys for these? I don't see any sort of serial number down there. If I can open it with a key, what would be my next move? It would be a pity to have to bin the cover as it is in decent nick - silver colour, with Suzuki Jimny embossed on it.

Many thanks,

Kiers.

I would suggest a locksmith, if they are any good they should be able to pick it without damage and replace the mechanism.

Have a rummage around for some old paddlock keys or even the old type cycle lock key you may have stashed away.
I snapped a key in mine and managed to get it out then open again after trying a a few old keys I had stored away.
