Lightbar, again. was created by Lambert
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not sure.

Right, so, I'm back to the idea of fitting my lightbar. It's going in the front of the mesh grill in the bumper cutout. I really don't want to just bolt it or bond it to the plastic as it will send me mad if it vibrates the light pattern. So it has to be rigidly fixed, preferably triangulated.

Before I go ahead and reinvent the wheel, has anyone done this that i might copy their brackets?

Cheers.

Mine was in that place but I had to move it to make spce for a winch (I jus got arround to to fitting it yesterday, not yet wired).

I've made an aluminium bracket/plate that was under the plastic and riveted in place, and LED bar fitted on it. No problem with vibrations. You could epoxy it in place but if rivets bother you.

Cheers Dave, they are the sort of thing. Not bad money too. And the light will be a bit higher too.

Certainly easier than making something that does the same job but not so neatly.

Mines on the bumper. 21" lightbar. I can slide my fingers underneath it to open bonnet easy. Use some large washers underneath and it won't wobble. I did change the three bumper clips you see when you open the bonnet to some plastic grommets and body panel screws. Doesn't move at all.
