I'm after a bit of help, I have a 54 plate Jimny Mode, I've had it a few months, got a bit of time off so giving it a good service and going over.
The fan belt has been squealing so I thought I would replace it, putting a new rad in to.
I got from the big motor parts store beginning with H and ends in Ford what I thought was the correct belt only to find I have 2, stupid mistake I know.
The belt I have bought is a 4 PK 850.
The one I have taken off the alternator side is a 4 PK 835.
The other one has no markings left on it.
Can the one I've got be used for either side ?
If not what do I need?

Just fit the 850Jim Jimny wrote: No aircon, 13A engine
The reason i fitted two 850's is that i carry a spare one as it fits alty and power steering
I tried fitting an 835 and couldn't get it on

two 10mm bolts to give the radiator some movement and space to work. but you are taking yours out so wont be an issue.
a day or two before i sprayed the bolt under the alternator with wd, then used a pipe over the ratchet to give leverage. i also used a pipe over the 10mm allen key to give the belt tension a jammed it in place so i could tighten it. tighten it so you can
just turn the belt through 90 degrees, with finger and thumb. ive tried to attach some pics hopes this helps, i took them for this very question!! the belts were both fine when fitted.

If you remove the fan and either remover the radiator or just move it by removing the bolts then it is straight forward fit.
You will need a hex socket / Allan key to loosen the lower alternator bolt.
