First time I've ever fitted one, couldn't believe how heavy it is! Locating the fixing points wasn't exactly a breeze. I wanted something British (always try to do that) and I thought £100 was pretty good for a solid piece of kit.

Hi Barry, I considered buying that exact tow bar but wasn’t sure if it would obscure part of the number plate. I have opted for a Witter detachable.

Yes, the tow BALL does kind of partially obscure the number plate, but I think it's ok. If it is ever picked up by plod or an MoT then I'll simply undo the two bolts while I'm not using it and turn it upside down.
