Interesting point there, if you knew that you needed a boot floor and glued one in like mads has then a month or two later you have a test how is the tester going to know, especially if you have done a good looking job with the seam sealer? Cos as i understand it a tester cannot remove any trim etc to view the underlying structure?

I have removed the arch extensions. Came off no trouble.

Went to another garage and it was an eye opener.





So he is going to weld up the damage they did and MoT the motor afresh for less than half the money the rip-off wanted.

Do it right - use Hammerite
When the blue light is flashing I am kidding.

Exactly that......it'd be deviant though to essentially camouflage a rotbox?.........tiny holes like Johns.....sat there for years minding their own business......making zero contribution to structural strength......nasty MOT tester!
