Mongol Rally - Request for Guidance

Critical things for a standard Jimny would be something like fuses, brake pads and shoes, pair of drive belts and enough bits and pieces to bodge you to the next town so stuff like gaffer tape, string, electric wire, strong wire, a length of rubber fuel/pressure pipe and some clips, a couple of ratchet straps and some tools including a small diagnostic tester/code reader. With the exception of the brake parts i carry most of that in mine all the time and it fits comfortably into a 20 litre plastic box . Also get to really know your car before you leave, work on it yourself, understand it and it's moods .
