About £60 to check the tappets just replacing a few bits of rubber
Which is why checking the tappets has been on my "When I get a Round Tuit" list for many years (If you don't know what a Round Tuit is- ask your grandparents)
If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there
