Hi All
I'm looking for a self rescue solution that does not include a permanent winch installation on the front of the Jimny. I've come across Superwinch in my researches, and wondered if anyone in the Forum has had experience as a User ?

Thanks for looking and any feedback, good or not so good.

Don't know about that particular one but superwinch are hugely respected in land rover circles.

I have used one of that type in the past. Its only rated at 1 tonne pull.
It wont pull you out of a mud hole with 4 flat tyres up a 45' slope but if you are
stuck in a set of deep ruts or a muddy patch it will do the job. :)
Think of it as a tow from another vehicle or a push for 4 big blokes!
Think also, if you you use a pully/snach block it doubles the pull but slows the rate.

Iv had two superwinch winches, of recent Iv got a tiger shark 9500lb (rope not wire) and it's never let me down, performs brilliantly and didn't cost the earth. If had two for the sole reason I sold my last jimny with one on and got another Jim with another superwinch because of how well the last one worked.
