Plan is too meet at the Ship in Upavon at 10:30 this morning. I've got the OS map for the area and I've marked a number of paths that are shown as OK by the MOD site that we can follow. I intend to try and do some gentle green laning from there and see how it goes.
I'll get some pictures and put them up here for those who can't make it.

I was a bit nervous that the plain wouldn't be particularly challenging. At least without going on to bits that you're not meant to. I needn't have worried it was excellent. We were able to pick routes that were as easy or as difficult as we felt like. No one got stuck, a good thing for us. We didn't get too lost but at the same time we weren't always where we thought we were. I think we covered about 50 miles in total, round the top through the middle along some green lanes and back along the bottom and up the side.
Places to mention that caused amusement;
Brazen Bottom farm, where we stopped for lunch
PP Ho, too wet to drive down....
and too many other bottoms to mention
I will try to get a map together of the route we followed and post here in the next few days.
Thank you to BigKND for coming along and for buying us all tea and coffee at the end.
Must do it again soon.

It's quite muddy but not too difficult on the majority of the byways , mines standard apart from all terrains and managed fine although was going sideways at times when rear wheels were in one set of ruts and the fronts in another
