Agree, 90's aint the cheapest things to repair when they break and they seem to break alot!!think you pay alot for the green oval.

It's covered for 3 years under warranty, and new puma defenders are much more reliable than the older tdi and td5, although they don't have the power

It will be a daily drive so no risk of it suffering excessive wear offroad

Still can't help thinking you would be better off with a Wrangler. They're more economical, powerful, faster and better equipped. As a daily driver they would definitely be better, and as an off roader better too! They're also cheaper.
