I've fitted abit of kit at tires cooper just had some wheel spacers fitted 30mm alloy what a difference to driving that made ,blacked out the windows in rear ,wind deflectors
So that's about it for the mo have spoke to people on here about lifting heard some conflicting reports
Trouble is I need the vehicle for work on road 5 days doing about 70 miles a week so I need something stable
I was thinking about a snorkel next and some protection underneath
There is a couple of farm tracks but there quite flat it does get quite muddy
I don't know anybody to go with and where hmm is there anything up your way

There's whats called the British, in talywain, but not sure if it's legal to drive around, mx and others go up there, also some places in blaenavon and pantygasseg again not sure on legality...

On in the middle of buying tyres but hit a brick wall, ordered some and out of stock and others are too expensive or haven't got 215/75s

Assuming your in the uk.

Ordnance survey maps are a good place to start, check with your local highways authority or your local GLASS rep, they have a website which might provide further information.the problem is finding which ones are open as they sometime have TRO's (tempory road order) which generaly means they are closed, this is why you need to contact local authorities as they may not be signed as being closed.

obviously if it has a restricted byway sign dont drive it, we do not want to provide amunition for getting them ALL closed.

if you come across a byway and it doesnt look like its been driven I would advise checking with the appropriate authoritys before driving it as it may be closed to ttaffic.

some areas are sign posted alot better than others depends how much your local authority wants them advertised.

if in doubt dont drive it.

On google there is a map called local byways the green routes are ok but it says anything else is a big no no you get fined or even worse take the car lol in our area there are a lot but they are all red routes I'm not into breaking the law or wrecking lanes where your not aloud I do understand the countryside and how fragile it is

Joining a local laning club is a great way to get started and learn how to do it right and stay legal :) Have a search round - I'm sure there'll be quite a few clubs in Wales.
